Exploring the Itria Valley

The Itria Valley, known as the Valley of Trulli, embraces some of the most fascinating towns in Apulia, such as:

Alberobello

Alberobello is a fairytale place, a small jewel of land nestled in the Itria Valley between the Apulian provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto.

Martina Franca

In the heart of the Valle d'Itria, Martina Franca is the quintessential Baroque town, whose historic center is dotted with them. In a beautiful panoramic position overlooking the valley, it is a maze of narrow stone streets, Baroque churches and palaces with wrought-iron flowered balconies.

Cisternino

Nestled on a green hillside: the old town is intimate and quaint, whitewashed, paved and dotted with pots of colorful flowers. Awarded by the Italian Touring Club, the village has retained its eastern charm with its low houses, hidden courtyards, stairways, tangle of alleys, and arches.

Landscapes and Traditions

This valley is a perfect example of Apulia's rural landscape, where the use of local stone in dry-stone walls and red earth tones add unmistakable charm. Iconic trulli and historic masserie, typical stone dwellings, dot the countryside, creating a unique environment that evokes a time long past.

Nature and Adventure

In the Itria Valley, contact with nature is an integral part of the experience. Take advantage of the surrounding land to pick fruit straight from the trees and fresh vegetables in the organic garden, or grab your bikes and set out to discover unforgettable landscapes that will take you to the heart of this region.

Culture and Gastronomy

The area is full of farms and oil mills where you can enjoy traditional Apulian cuisine. Olive oil tastings and typical dishes await you, ready to make you fall in love with the authentic flavors of the Itria Valley, while the scent of red earth will remind you of the uniqueness of this region.
